Moab

My mom and dad wanted to take us to Moab. While they were planning the trip, they thought that we might be able to bike half of the practice loops. They didn’t know how good we were because we hadn’t gone on very many mountain biking trips. When we got to Moab(after a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG trip) we set up camp and went to bed. When we got up in the morning, we went to ride the Slick Rock Trail Practice Loop. As we finished up the ride, my mom and dad were thinking the same thing. We were wrong. We’re doing the real thing.

Unfortunately, one of the days that we were doing the trail (the real one), my bike chain decided not to work. It didn’t have enough oil, so it was sticking to my gears. My dad put sunscreen on the chain, and it worked again! We thought we might see “Also great for bike chain oil” on sunscreen ads…..

I will keep the sunscreen cure in mind next time I need oil. Your trip sounded like a lot of fun. Spending time with your family in that kind of environment is so great. Memories like that last a lifetime.
